I’ve spent years on this podcast teaching through books of the Bible, recovery, discipleship, and the struggles we all face. But I’ve also avoided the hard topics, especially faith and politics, out of fear.
The recent assassination of Charlie Kirk and the powerful words of Dr. Frank Turek reminded me that silence is no longer an option. The world is loud. Evil is loud. Lies are loud. If Christians whisper, who will ever hear the truth?
In this episode, I share why our faith should shape our politics, not the other way around. We’ll talk about the First Amendment, the often-misused phrase “separation of church and state,” and how to defend your faith in political conversations with both courage and grace.
If you’ve listened to me for long, you know one of my greatest inspirations is Dr. Frank Turek. His book I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist (co-authored with Dr. Norman Geisler) is still one of my favorites on apologetics. My goal is to be at least half as bold and effective as he has been in defending truth.
This one is personal. It’s raw. And it’s needed.
